This position is ideal for someone with hands-on pouch-making experience who can independently set up, operate, adjust, and troubleshoot pouch equipment.\nThis is not an entry-level machine operator position. Previous pouch-making or flexible packaging converting experience is strongly preferred.\nResponsibilities\nSet up and operate pouch-making equipment according to job specifications.\n\nPerform machine changeovers and adjustments for pouch size, seals, zippers, tear notches, perforations, and other pouch features.\n\nMonitor temperature, tension, registration, sealing, and machine speed throughout production runs.\n\nInspect finished pouches for dimensions, seal integrity, appearance, registration, and overall quality.\n\nTroubleshoot machine, material, and quality issues.\n\nComplete required quality checks and production documentation.\n\nMonitor scrap and work to reduce waste and downtime.\n\nPerform routine cleaning and basic equipment maintenance.\n\nCommunicate equipment or production concerns to Maintenance and Production Leadership.\n\nFollow all safety, quality, GMP, and plant procedures.\n\nMaintain a clean and organized work area.\n\nQualifications\nPrevious experience operating pouch-making equipment in a flexible packaging or converting environment.\n\nAbility to independently perform machine setups and changeovers.\n\nStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.\n\nKnowledge of pouch sealing, registration, tension, and material-feed adjustments.\n\nAbility to read production specifications and use basic measuring tools.\n\nStrong attention to detail and quality.\n\nAbility to work independently and maintain production expectations.\n\nExperience with stand-up pouches, zipper pouches, three-side-seal pouches, laminated films, or similar flexible packaging products is a plus.\nSchedule\n2nd Shift -
