You'll have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues and contribute your ideas to meaningful projects and initiatives. \nPosition Overview: The Audit Associate is responsible forperforming various aspects of attest engagements (audits, reviews, and compilations) across diverse industries, including real estate, technology, hospitality, nonprofit, construction, and distribution. This role requires working under supervision while independently assessing competing courses of action and implementing well-reasoned decisions to meet engagement objectives. The Audit Associate will gain valuable experience working alongside senior staff and Partners. \nResponsibilities: \nLearn about the profession and stay current with professional standards. \nDevelop a solid understanding of effective workpaper principles and their application. \nDocument audit findings clearly and concisely, ensuring proper referencing to source data. \nGain knowledge in audit theory, including financial statement assertions and double-entry accounting principles. \nComplete assigned audit sections, demonstrating the ability to assess and resolve common issues. \nParticipate in engagement planning, risk assessment, and scheduling activities. \nWork on audits, reviews, and compilation engagements across various industries. \nUtilize research tools to address accounting issues, applying the Accounting Standards Codification effectively. \nCommunicate proactively with team members and clients to ensure smooth engagement progress. \nBuild knowledge of different business industries and understand related accounting implications. \nAttend professional networking events and continuing education sessions to enhance technical and professional skills. \nBalance supervisory guidance with independent problem-solving and decision-making throughout engagements. \nQualifications: \nBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.\nActively working toward obtaining a CPA license preferred.\n1-3 years’ experience in public accounting preferred.\nAbility to travel occasionally for client engagements.\nFlexibility to work extended hours when necessary.\nStrong organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines.\nCapable of working independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment. \nThe annual base salary range for this role is $74,000-$85,000. This range includes the anticipated low and high end the salary range for this position.
