This is a remote position in the field reporting to the Tiers Commercial Manager.\nKey Responsibilities\nExecute account strategies for global accounts and develop strategic plans for regional accounts aligned with overall business and marketing objectives.\nLead regional pricing discussions and contract negotiations to drive profitable growth and strengthen customer partnerships.\nManage demand forecasting activities, monitor sales pipelines, and identify opportunities to increase market share and revenue growth.\nTrack and communicate developments at local customer sites to support business objectives and maintain account visibility.\nIdentify, assess, and communicate customer opportunities, market trends, potential threats, and emerging business needs.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships across customer organizations while gathering and leveraging customer feedback to enhance engagement and value delivery.\nActively contribute to account planning, strategy development, and cross-functional account team discussions.\nPartner with local Optima Service teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and support successful account management.\nDevelop and implement strategies that increase adoption and sales of PPG's preferred products within customer accounts.\nThrough PPG's Fixed and Variable Rate (FAVR) program, you'll have the flexibility to drive your own vehicle while receiving tax-advantaged reimbursement for fuel, insurance, and other eligible business-related vehicle expenses. The program is designed to provide a convenient, cost-effective alternative to a company vehicle while giving you greater choice and flexibility.\nQualifications\n6 or more years of related experience.\nBachelor's degree or equivalent in related discipline.\nExperience with large OEM's and/or Tiers suppliers and coatings technologies.\nStrong sales and negotiation skills.\nProven communication capabilities required to effectively manage complex and dynamic situations.\nMust possess a valid driver's license, maintain automobile insurance, have access to a personal vehicle that meets PPG's Fixed and Variable Rate (FAVR) program requirements, and successfully pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) review.\nPosition location is Western Michigan; Regular travel to PPG and customer locations is required.\nPPG offers comprehensive benefits such as Health, Dental, Life, Retirement Plan, Paid Vacation & Holidays, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Disability/Leave, and other Voluntary benefit offerings.
