The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience operating and programming CNC machines, with preferred familiarity with Zimmermann high-speed milling machines. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of producing precision components while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperate, set up, and monitor CNC milling machines, with a focus on Zimmermann portal/gantry milling systems\nRead and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files to determine machining requirements\nWrite, edit, and optimize CNC programs (G-code/M-code) for complex part geometries\nPerform tool selection, tool changes, and offsets to ensure dimensional accuracy\nConduct first-article inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM)\nIdentify and resolve machine faults, tooling issues, and program errors proactively\nPerform routine maintenance and coordinate with maintenance teams for scheduled servicing\nMaintain accurate production records, inspection logs, and machine utilization reports\nAdhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and procedures\nCollaborate with engineers, quality teams, and production planners to meet delivery targets\nMentor and support junior CNC operators as needed\nRequired Qualifications & Skills\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma or GED (required)\nTechnical/Vocational Certificate or Associate's Degree in Machining Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred)\nExperience\nMinimum 3+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment (Preferred 5+ years)\nDemonstrated experience with 5 Axis machining\nPreferred experience with large-format or gantry-style CNC milling machines\nStrong knowledge of CNC control systems \nTechnical Skills\nUnderstanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)\nProficiency with precision measurement tools and inspection equipment\nAbility to machine a variety of materials including acrylic.\nStrong understanding of feeds, speeds, and cutting parameters\nPreferred Qualifications\nDirect hands-on experience with F.
