Answering incoming calls to help customers understand their balance and due items.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAll the below will be performed in cooperation with the Credit Managers for DACH.\nCredit\nFollow local policy and EMEA Credit policy.\n\nExisting customer - review credit limit based on policy\n\nManage blocked orders based on policy.\n\nManage the customer credit risks followed by proactive actions and communications.\n\nCoordinate, update of Master data relevant for automated communication\n\nHelp integrate any new business acquisitions or business extensions.\n\nCollection\nFollow regular Dunning process.\n\nReviewing open accounts in your own portfolio for collection efforts\n\nConduct collection calls and E-mails to collect Accounts Receivables\n\nMail correspondence to customers to encourage payment of overdue receivables.\n\nNegotiate customer disputes to resolution and documents root cause.\n\nDevelop relationships with internal/external customers.\n\nMaintain accurate collection files.\n\nIdentify issues attributing to account delinquency and discuss them with the Credit Manager\n\nReview and monitor all applicable collection reports.\n\nProvide timely follow-up on payment arrangements.\n\nRequirements:\nBe fluent in German, French and English.\n\nPreferably 1-2 years' experience in credit & collections, including interaction with a large customer base.\n\nStrong communication, problem solving and analytical skills.\n\nGood knowledge of the Excel.\n\nAccounts Receivable knowledge/experience is a plus.\n\nDetail oriented.\n\nService minded and empathic.\n\nEffective business writing and professional communication skills.\n\nAbout us:\nPPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD ®\nThrough leadership in innovation, sustainability and color, PPG helps customers in industrial, transportation, consumer products, and construction markets and aftermarkets to enhance more surfaces in more ways than does any other company.
