Based in our Malaysia Shared Finance Centre located in Shah Alam, you will manage receivables collections, build positive customer relationships, and partner with different teams to resolve disputes and guide success. You will also minimize the credit risk exposure for customers in Australia and New Zealand. To be successful in this role, you will need an understanding of ANZ market practices, great English skills, and adherence to company credit policies and compliance requirements. You will report to Assistant Credit Manager ANZ.\nMain Responsibilities\nCollections Management\nManage a portfolio of customer accounts across Australia and New Zealand.\nImplement collection strategies to reduce overdue balances and improve cash flow.\nConduct regular follow-ups by phone, email, and other communication channels.\nAccount Reconciliation & Dispute Resolution\nInvestigate and resolve customer queries, disputes, and deductions promptly.\nWork with Sales, Customer Service, and Billing teams to resolve issues affecting payment.\nEnsure accurate account reconciliation and documentation.\nCredit Risk Monitoring\nMonitor credit limits, aging reports, and payment trends.\nEscalate high-risk accounts and recommend appropriate actions (e.g., credit holds).\nSupport periodic credit reviews where required.\nTeam member Collaboration\nAct as a liaison between ANZ teams and the shared service center.\nMaintain relationships with customers to support collections.\nProvide regular updates to partners on collection status and risks.\nReport and Compliance\nMaintain accurate records of collection activities within systems.\nPrepare collection reports, aging analysis, and Indicator tracking.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and audit requirements.\nContinuous Improvement\nIdentify process improvement opportunities to enhance collection efficiency.\nParticipate in AI automation or transformation plans within the finance team\nSupport automation and digitalization plans by identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes, reduce manual effort, and improve data quality\nLead dashboards and visual reports for the team using tools such as Power BI, Excel, Power Query, or other reporting platforms.\nJob Description\nProvide accurate AR performance analysis to support decisions and assess collection effectiveness.\nManage collection worklists and oversee work queue completion, ensuring accurate and reliable system updates.\nManage ageing portfolios and follow up on overdue accounts to secure payment commitments.\nReview and release credit-blocked orders, ensuring appropriate risk assessment, approvals, and compliance with credit policies.\nMonitor long-overdue accounts and guide collection actions and debt recovery efforts.\nManage bad debt provisions and write-offs following credit policies, collaborating with Finance and Business teams on justifications.\nCoordinate with third-party collection agencies to support debt recovery activities.\nPrepare and submit monthly DSO reports with accurate analysis and commentary.\nProcess credit card payments and handle related customer inquiries and approvals.\nImprove process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.\nUse Excel, Power Query, Power BI, SAP, and other ERP/reporting tools to support collections and reporting.\nSupport data analytics, dashboard development, and financial reporting plans.\nRequires:\n1. Working hours from 8AM~4.30PM\n2. Hybrid or shared service center environment.\n3. 2-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Collections and have IT background.\n4. Orderly and analytical, demonstrated high thinking skill and changing priorities\n5. Proficient in written and spoken English.\n6.Proactive and collaborative, while still able to work independently.\n7.Proficiency in Microsoft Exce l (Pivot Tables, Power Query, advanced formulas, macros is a bonus)\n8.
