manage capital investments, support business growth, and ensure compliance with EHS, quality, and regulatory requirements.\nReporting directly to the Plant Manager, the role leads a multidisciplinary team of approximately 15 employees.\nKey Responsibilities\nEngineering & Automation Leadership\nDevelop and execute automation engineering strategies aligned with site objectives and long-term operational needs.\nLead feasibility studies, engineering design, and project planning activities for new and existing manufacturing assets.\nDefine and manage capital investment plans and spending forecasts related to automation projects.\nOversee the design, installation, commissioning, and optimization of automated production equipment.\nIdentify and implement innovative engineering solutions to improve plant productivity, reliability, and efficiency.\nManage engineering budgets and ensure projects are delivered on time and within approved costs.\nSupport engineering procurement activities, from technical requirements definition through supplier selection.\nProject Management\nDevelop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.\nCoordinate cross-functional engineering teams and external contractors.\nMonitor project execution, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, timelines, and company standards.\nManage change requests, contract variations, and project documentation.\nProvide regular project progress updates to plant leadership.\nMaintenance Management\nLead and coordinate maintenance activities delivered through external service providers.\nDrive maintenance excellence through effective planning, KPI monitoring, and cost control.\nManage supplier contracts, service levels, invoicing, and performance reviews.\nSupport the implementation of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodologies and maintenance digitalization initiatives.\nEnsure equipment reliability and plant continuity while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.\nInternal Logistics & Warehouse Operations\nLead the Internal Logistics and Warehouse teams, ensuring safe and efficient operations.\nRedesign and optimize raw material warehouse processes, layouts, and material flow.\nCollaborate with Operations and Supply Chain teams to improve logistics performance and service levels.\nDefine and monitor logistics KPIs and SLAs.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve logistics excellence and operational efficiency.\nCross-Functional Collaboration & Compliance\nPartner with Operations, Technology, Process Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to deliver an integrated site approach.\nSupport troubleshooting and resolution of equipment, facility, utility, and infrastructure issues.\nParticipate in site governance and strategic planning meetings.\nEnsure compliance with relevant regulations, including EHS, ISO standards, IATF requirements, and plant management systems.\nLead technical decision-making and conflict resolution across engineering disciplines.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nStrong knowledge of automation systems, maintenance management, and industrial engineering practices.\nExperience in warehouse operations, internal logistics, and supply chain coordination.\nKnowledge of utilities engineering and chemical process risk management.\nProven track record managing capital projects within a manufacturing environment.\nExperience\nMinimum 7 years of management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.\nDemonstrated experience leading engineering, maintenance, automation, or logistics teams.\nExperience managing external suppliers, contractors, and service providers.\nProven project management experience, including budgeting, planning, and execution of capital investments.\nThe base salary range for this position is 75.000,00 eur to 85.000,00 eur per year, with a possibility of an annual bonus up to 13% of base salary.\nWe confirm that this job offer is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria and complies
