# Especialista EHS

As a EHS Specialist you will identify and evaluate preventive and corrective measures in facilities, equipment, and work tools in order to minimize risks based on established Safety, Health, and Environmental programs. Responsabilties: Inspect, monitor, and maintain facilities, equipment, and work tools to ensure compliance with STPS (Secretariat of Labor and Social Welfare) Official Mexican Standards (NOMs). Train general staff, machinery and equipment operators, and emergency response teams to ensure compliance with STPS Official Mexican Standards (NOMs). Conduct studies, develop programs, and manage inspections to obtain license renewals and official approvals, ensuring compliance with requirements from Civil Protection, municipal, state, and federal environmental authorities, the STPS, and the SSA (Secretariat of Health). Manage and implement safety programs-including risk analyses-to ensure compliance with STPS regulations. Implement training programs for new employees, as well as refresher training for existing staff, covering safe practices, procedures, and emergency response. Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of programs, systems, and procedures
