You partner closely with Production Scheduling, Operations, Customer Service, Raw Material Planning, and other manufacturing locations to proactively identify supply risks and drive effective supply decisions across the network. You will work with the team at our Springdale, PA, manufacturing facility, reporting to the Supply Chain Supervisor.\nResponsibilities\nOwn finished goods supply planning for assigned products using Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP), reviewing demand, planned orders, projected inventory, recommendations, and exceptions.\n\nTranslate customer demand, forecasts, inventory requirements, and planning parameters into actionable production and supply requirements.\n\nBalance customer service, finished goods inventory, manufacturing capacity, lead times, and operational constraints while proactively identifying shortages and supply risks.\n\nPartner with Production Scheduling and Operations to convert supply requirements into executable production plans and align priorities with manufacturing capabilities.\n\nManage finished goods inventory and planning parameters, including safety stock, lead times, order quantities, sourcing rules, and other settings to optimize service and working capital.\n\nRecommend production, inventory, and transfer actions to resolve supply-demand imbalances and support inventory optimization across manufacturing locations and warehouses.\n\nServe as a key Supply Chain contact for Customer Service, providing timely communication on product availability, constraints, customer priorities, and recovery plans.\n\nAnalyze planning and inventory performance, perform root cause analysis, and support IBP, continuous improvement, and planning standardization initiatives.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.\n\nMinimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Planning, Production Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, or related operations.\n\nExperience working with MRP/ERP or advanced planning systems; Oracle ASCP, Oracle EBS, SAP, or similar systems preferred.\n\nStrong understanding of supply and demand planning, inventory management, manufacturing operations, and planning parameters.\n\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel proficiency with the ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable business decisions.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\n\nAbility to manage competing priorities, make sound decisions, and proactively identify risks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\n\nAPICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification, IBP/S&OP experience, multi-site manufacturing experience, or Power BI/Power Query/SQL experience preferred.\n\nAbout us:\nPPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD ®\nThrough leadership in innovation, sustainability and color, PPG helps customers in industrial, transportation, consumer products, and construction markets and aftermarkets to enhance more surfaces in more ways than does any other company.
