Your work will directly affect people's lives!\nMessage “PPG” to +1 412-968-8670 to apply for this position via text!\nJob Purpose\nThe main purpose of the Line Operator is:\nAccountable for all aspects of the filling of production batches to within specification following all procedures and practices to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment while maintaining Quality standards\nJob Responsibilities\nCompliance:\nPerform all duties according to SOP’s, GMP’s and all other established safety standards and company policies\nCorrectly complete all documentation as per SOP’s and GMP requirements, i.e., observations, test results, batch record information, etc.\nNotify management in the event of a departure from procedure, product defect, safety incident or other serious problem\nProductivity and Operational Excellence:\nDismantle, clean, sanitize and assemble processing equipment according to established SOPs to ensure hygiene compliance\nSafely operate all required equipment and machinery including those used to manufacture, store, clean and transport production related assets\nExecute applicable SAP transactions accurately and in a timely manner\nEffectively process batches within specifications to meet department batch execution targets by ensuring optimal cycle times in support of schedule adherence\nComplete daily administrative tasks and in a timely manner\nEnsure the proper selection, care and use of tools, parts and equipment while performing all job related duties\nEscalate manufacturing related issues to the appropriate support groups (QA, Process, Maintenance, Operations) and help in the resolution and 5 why analysis\nRecommend and actively support the implementation of process improvement opportunities\nAssist in incident investigations and root cause analysis of FRB batches\nMaintain 5S standards\nPrevious Forklift experience required and must have a valid forklift license\nTeamwork:\nActively seeks and accepts positive and constructive feedback from colleagues\nWorks effectively with team members in support of team and department goals\nActively embraces cross training initiatives across departments\nCommunicates effectively both verbally and written\nPerform any related duties as assigned\nActively contributes in team meetings and other team-related activities\nPerson Profile & Skills\nGood time management skills and ability to prioritize\nTeam focused\nSense of urgency\nSense of respect and integrity for self and team\nAbility to manage through difficult and stressful situations\nAbility to work on multiple priorities at the same time\nAbility to stand, walk, and sit.
