We are currently looking for a Territory Manager to be based in Mackay as part of our Refinish team. As the successful candidate, you will report to the Queensland Business Manager, with a primary objective to enhance the profitability of your assigned territory by cultivating and nurturing both new and existing partnerships. By driving the expansion of key customers and identifying new business opportunities, you will contribute to the overall growth and profitability of PPG across Mackay and surrounding areas.\nKey Responsibilities\nAchieve monthly and yearly sales goals and financial plans.\n\nOversee and supervise debtors/accounts receivable in accordance with PPG accounts policy.\n\nRecognise users of competitive brands and create tactics to gain entry to showcase the advantages of using Refinish and LIC Commercial Performance Coatings products.\n\nAssist distributor sales activities and ensure accurate recommendation and application of products while adhering to proper EH&S procedures.\n\nEstablish strong connections with PPG personnel and Distribution Network.\n\nEnhance share of wallet, monitor, and assess growth of current customers and distributors.\n\nFollow pricing initiatives/policies to provide the necessary profit contribution.\n\nEstablish and maintain strong connections with key customers and industry groups.\n\nIdentify opportunities and execute plans to expand in underrepresented segments and geographies.\n\nSkills and Experience\nSales experience is preferred but not mandatory.\n\nA strong emphasis on customer service is required.\n\nProficiency in technical knowledge of refinish & Industrial paint products and application techniques is desirable.\n\nHaving prior experience with competitor products can be advantageous.\n\nPossessing a trade qualification in spray painting and refinish industry is desirable.
