You will create weekly, monthly and yearly plans to ensure 100% scheduling of all PMs. You will report to the Maintenance Manager.\nPPG offers excellent Medical, Dental, & Vision Benefits; matching 401k + retirement savings; and Paid Vacation, Holiday pay.\nResponsibilities:\nObtain quotes or bids for planned jobs and projects work by PPG’s Purchasing Guidelines\nDevelop job scope for work that is planned or projects\nCreate schedule for upcoming jobs\nRequest proper number of Contractors / PPG maintenance for scheduled days of work for planned/projects\nCommunication with Maintenance/Contractor Supervisor on planned/project work\nPlan and communicate for parts and supplies that are needed for planned/project work\nAttend meetings for Mechanical Integrity (MI)\nSchedule outage meetings for work that is needed during plant outage\nCompleted all Work Orders in a timely manner within the Computer Maintenance Management\nSystem (CMMS).\nMaintain accurate job plans and details within the existing CMMS\nTrack outages for planned/project work using CMMS and complete when work has been done\nEnter Purchase Orders for required parts and critical spares\nCompletion of all duties assigned by Manager\nQualifications:\nHigh School degree or GED required; highly preferred an associate’s degree with equivalent technical experience developed through maintenance career path with 6 to 10 years’ experience in scheduling, OR BS degree preferred with 3 to 6 years of proven experience in planning/ scheduling for maintenance.\n\nBackground in Maintenance required.\nAbility to read and understand diagrams, P&ID drawings and basic schematics.\nProficient with CMMS systems desired.\nAbout us:\nPPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD ®\nThrough leadership in innovation, sustainability and color, PPG helps customers in industrial, transportation, consumer products, and construction markets and aftermarkets to enhance more surfaces in more ways than does any other company.
