In this role, you will support critical business operations by enabling seamless order processing, manufacturing, and distribution activities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure item data is created, maintained, and updated in a timely manner, helping to drive operational efficiency and business continuity.\nKey responsibilities:\nItem Creation Process Management\nCreation of all items codes in Oracle including the attributes, categories, unit of measure conversions and organization assignment.\nPut in place systems for controlling item creation across all Aerospace sites.\n Fully accountable for the development of new and existing coding conventions used within ICC.\n Manage workflows by using Cognos to ensure they are completed in a timely manner and identify problem areas.\nManage Item Creation Form and new design process to ensure legal compliance and meet customer needs\nMaintain and update P&L reference guides and customer specification references in partnership with Aero Engineering Services.\nOversee addition of new tariff codes and VOC compliance in Oracle; implemented poison center requirements and sustainability initiatives.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nWork closely with Technical Management, QA/QC, IT, Finance, and global teams (Toulouse, USA, Canada, Poland) to design workflows, resolve issues, and streamline processes.\nProvided training across all sites related to item set-up creation\nLiaise with ASC Business Directors and R&T to align commodity codes and product data globally.\nSupport Finance on category assignments impacting accounting and ISKU/BULKS.\nTraining & Supervision\nTrain, support, and supervise ICS Polish Team in item creation and task prioritization.\nProcess Improvement & Problem Solving\nOverview and implementation of new procedures for US material and streamline Laserfish processes.\nResolve technical issues related to item creation (e.g., missing organizations, labeling errors, date format discrepancies) and ensure correct workflow execution.\nCreate SharePoint repositories for ICR forms for audit compliance.\nData Management & Reporting\nUpdate Oracle data for Sealant products in line with ETQ and R&T updates.\nGenerate monthly KPI dashboards using BI tools to track workflow status and delays.\nProvide regular data updates for Airbus products (weights, STVPs).\nProduct Lifecycle & Compliance\nAttend monthly Product Management Review meetings for Coatings and Sealants; manage item discontinuation and new product integration.\nCollaborate on product deactivation processes and sustainability programs.\nEnsure VOC details are in place for Switzerland and maintain compliance with legal requirements.\nCustomer & Internal Support\nAssist Sales with VAP/seal cap product data and weight adjustments.\nWork with QA/CSU to resolve customer complaints and improve notification processes for new/obsolete products.\nProvide day-to-day support and problem-solving for internal customers.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Analytics, Operations, or a related field.\n3-4 years of experience in supply chain strategy or business analysis.\nStrong analytical skills with experience in data modelling, footprint analysis, and inventory optimization.\nProficiency in ERP Systems (Oracle) - Data maintenance, workflow design, and process optimization.\nProficiency Power BI, and advanced Excel for data analysis.\nGood Knowledge about Regulatory Compliance - VOC, poison center requirements etc.\nStrong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.\nExperience with S&OP processes and supply chain transformation projects is a plus.\nFluency in English.\nPreferred Skills & Attributes:\nData-driven mindset.\nAbility to manage complex projects across multiple regions and stakeholders.\nExcellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.\nExperience with digital transformation, automation, and continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable.\nHow we work: At PPG, we bring teams together to accelerate collaboration and career development, with in-person work Monday through Thursday and the opportunity to work remotely on Flexible Fridays.
