You will report to the site Project Manager and help ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate process safety requirements and documentation.\nKey Responsibilities\nContinually improves site process safety management systems.\nLeads monthly PSM Leadership Team meetings.\nTracks process safety leading indicators and conduct strategic analysis to develop action plans to reduce risk.\nEnsures the effective communication of management of changes, process hazard analysis, safe operating limits, and other process safety elements.\nDevelops employee training to improve the process safety capabilities of the organization.\nComplete internal and external assessment of program execution.\nNetwork with corporate and other business unit process safety managers to foster adoption of best practices.\nProvide leadership, counsel, and technical assistance on process safety issues, incidents\nand ensures effective process safety program execution.\nFacilitates investigation of high potential process safety events and significant process failures.\nAssists with the integration of new projects or facility expansion projects from a process safety perspective.\nWork with facility personnel on developing the process hazard analysis schedule and providing facility resources.\nAdvise plant management on process safety risk and mitigation.\nFacilitates action plan development and implementation of property loss prevention improvements.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.\n3+ years of experience in Process Safety Management within a manufacturing or chemical plant environment.\nUnderstanding of OSHA PSM regulations.\nKnowledge of process hazard analysis and risk assessment methodologies.\nExperienced with collaborating effectively with all levels of an organization.\nPPG offers comprehensive benefits such as Health, Dental, Life, Retirement Plan, Paid Vacation & Holidays, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Disability/Leave, and other Voluntary benefit offerings.\nPPG will offer relocation assistance for eligible out of state candidates.\nPPG provides equal opportunity to all candidates and employees.
