Paid training is provided!\nThe schedule for 3rd shift is Monday- Friday and working hours can start between 10:00PM-12:00AM, followed by an 8.5-hour shift. *Overtime may be required when production needs are high.\nResponsibilities:\nYou will verify formula and component specifications on batch tickets.\nSet up, adjust, calibrate, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments such paint guns, mixers, viscometers, chemical balances, pH meters, gloss meters, solids analyzer, spectrophotometer, and other equipment.\nTest samples of manufactured products to verify conformity to specifications.\nRecord test results on batch tickets and on our computer operating system.\nYou will manage quality records and retains of production batches.\nEvaluate retains of production batches in response to quality complaints.\nPerform routine production quality checks to ensure finished products are filled and packaged according to specifications.\nYou will perform occasional quality audits of laboratory and production work instructions to ensure compliance with our Quality Policy.\nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.\n1+ years of chemistry or lab testing experience.\nBasic knowledge of mathematics and scientific principles.\nProduct inspection, testing and evaluation.\nAbout us:\nPPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD ®\nThrough leadership in innovation, sustainability and color, PPG helps customers in industrial, transportation, consumer products, and construction markets and aftermarkets to enhance more surfaces in more ways than does any other company.
