In this pivotal role, you will build reliable forecasts, connect data with commercial reality, and support strategic decision-making across multiple time horizons.\nIf you’re searching for a position where analytical excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and meaningful business impact come together - this opportunity is made for you.\nKey responsibility areas\nManage monthly and weekly forecasting process at both the detail (short term) and aggregate (mid and long term) level to create a 0 -18 month rolling demand plan which becomes the basis for operating plans and financial projections.\nCollaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams on demand plan preparation and execution\nAnalyze data to translate it into insights.\nChallenge data sources and assumptions and ensure that the demand plan reflects commercial actions and assumptions in a fact-based way.\nDrive the understanding of forecast changes including main drivers (volume, price, competition, etc.)\nCreate scenarios through identification of demand risks and opportunities, and through application of sensitivity analyses in price, market share, and competitive data.\nDrive reduction of forecast bias and improvement of forecast mix.\nKey success criteria\nBIAS\nForecast Accuracy\nSupporting IBP deployment and making business decision in 36 months’ time horizon\nActing as a change leader and promote IBP as a way of working and key business decisions making\nFunctional Skills & Experience\nDegree in science, business or technical\nStrong MS Office skills, especially MS Excel\nKnowledge of SAP systems, experience with SAP APO nice to have\nStrong business acumen and analytical skills\nStrong influencing skills and leadership experience driving for improved learning and change\nExperience in close cooperation with commercial and/or general business management function\nComfortably communicating and acting with different levels and stakeholders\nFluent English\nHow we work: At PPG, we bring teams together to accelerate collaboration and career development, with in-person work Monday through Thursday and the opportunity to work remotely on Flexible Fridays.
