As a Production Training Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and tracking training programs at a strategic local level. This position involves directing the design, scheduling, and implementation of comprehensive training programs, including technical, operations, and production. You will be responsible for enhancing existing training programs and developing innovative training techniques to ensure world-class training standards.\nIn this role you will work on-site at our Grand Prairie, TX facility and report directly to the Operations Learning Manager.\nResponsibilities:\nSupport training objectives of Aerospace Learning, company sites, and employees as requested.\nProgram Development: Improve the current onboarding and on-the-job training programs to streamline processes and reduce the time from initial contact to effective production levels.\nTeam Collaboration: Foster a spirit of cooperation and support within the training team and with the departments it supports.\nTraining Coordination: Complete training and onboarding plans by coordinating with peers to achieve work results, establish priorities, monitor progress, revise schedules, resolve problems, and report training program results routinely.\nQuality Assurance: Maintain quality service by establishing and upholding organizational standards.\nSafety and Compliance: Ensure a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing employees on the safe use of equipment and resources and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.\nPerformance Support: Assist production areas in resolving process and employee performance issues through training and education by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending actions.\nProfessional Development: Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training sessions, reviewing professional publications, and benchmarking best practices in training and onboarding to lead in the integration of new processes.\nAssist in site audit process.\nSpecial Projects as assigned.\nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent Required.\nOnly U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.\nOne (1) year or more of previous Aerospace Production / Industrial Environment experience required.\nPositive attitude and ability to remain flexible and easily adapt to changing situation is a must.\nPrevious Training experience is a plus but not required.\nAbout us:\nPPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD ®\nThrough leadership in innovation, sustainability and color, PPG helps customers in industrial, transportation, consumer products, and construction markets and aftermarkets to enhance more surfaces in more ways than does any other company.
