**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounting professional to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the full accounting cycle, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local accounting standards (e.g., Cambodian Financial Reporting Standards).
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, profit tax) and liaise with tax authorities as needed.
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements to strengthen internal controls.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training.
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of Cambodian tax laws and accounting regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (both written and verbal); Khmer language skills are a plus.
