We are looking for an established individual with leadership experience who can operate within a dynamic, fast paced, performance driven environment.\nThe scope of this role is to manage direct sales for PPS Internal Distribution. He/she is responsible for managing and training Financial Advisors and achieving sales targets for the team/branch. The Financial Advisors are long term insurance and investments focused and make referrals to the Short Term Insurance division including Health Professions Indemnity (HPI), in-house Fiduciary Services department and medical aid subsidiary Profmed. The Financial Advisor role generates its own leads for client prospecting.\nMinimum Requirements\nFormal Qualifications:\nA relevant bachelor’s degree is essential\nAn Honours degree and PPS membership would be preferably\nCertified Finance Planner would be advantageous\nCompleted RE5 (Representative) certificate\nCompleted RE1 (Key Individual) certificate\nKnowledge and Experience:\nAt least 2 years Sales Management experience in Sales and Distribution within the Financial Services\n3 to 5 years’ experience in Insurance product sales or advice\nProven track record in people management and leading a sales team\nProven track record in achieving sales targets\nThe establishment of a good network and collaborative relationships to support the achievement of sales targets\nCompetencies:\nLeadership skills, including the ability to motivate and develop people\nExceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills\nConfident, assertive and persuasive abilty\nSales skills/orientation\nA solid work ethic is important\nProblem solving\nAdaptability\nFlexibility, opne minded with a \"can do\" approach\nDigitally astute\nComputer Literacy:\nProficient in all aspects of using a computer ie MS Office package\nExperience with CRM tools\nExperience with tools relevant to the industry and position\nInterpersonal and Intrapersonal member experience, quality of service and personal targets\nAccountable for the optimization for processes, resources and technology to assist financial advisors to fulfil their roles\nKnowledge and understanding of sales activity and productivity management processes\nMonitor compliance, recommendations and advice rendered to clients\nConduct performance management\nSupervision in line with FAIS requirements\nKeep abreast of changes in legislation, products processes and systems\nBusiness Development\nStrategic Orientation:\nKnowledge and understanding of the PPS vision, strategy and member value proposition\nUnderstanding of the PPS Advice and Distribution strategic objectives\nActs with confidence and works independently \nCommunication:\nIs articulate and communicates in a logical way and structures information to meet the needs and understanding of intended audiences\nExpresses opinions, information and key points of view clearly and assertively\nIs confident in conceptualising, building and presenting concepts and plans\nExcellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) \nThis is a branch manager hybrid position within a tied agency.\nThe individual must be a South African citizen to be considered.\nThe individual must be a FAIS fit and proper key individual with clear criminal and credit records.\nSupervisory process must be completed in the categories and sub-categories of the 1044
