It has the responsibility of maintaining maximum safety, efficiency, reliability, productivity, quality, and customer service.\nOff load railcars.\nLoad trucks for delivering products to the customer.\nPerform routine equipment inspections.\nPerform uninterrupted glass dissolving production.\nPerform minor equipment repair.\nMaintain work area clean and free from all safety hazards.\nAssist in plant budget development.\nPerform efficient start up/shut-down of plant and related equipment.\nMaintain active participation in ISO audits/EHS audits/environmental audits.\nPerform all quality checks on products shipped, boiler water and maintain records.\nObtain knowledge of all company policies/plant procedures/ISO procedures/Emergency Response Plan.\nPrioritize in emergency situations and provide communication to proper authorities.\nHold a 5th class Power Engineer’s (boiler operator’s) ticket.\nPossess good math, reading, writing and computer skills.\nOther duties as assigned by the Unit Manager.\n Boiler Ticket preferred\nMinimun 2 years of experience in manufacutirng environamen \nExceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.\nAbility to learn and comprehend manufacturing processes.\nAbility to work as a member of a 3 person team.\nWillingness to learn new skills, as needed.\nAbility to assist others in completing required tasks.\nWork safely and abide by all safety rules and requirements.\n EHS Responsibilities\nCommunicates, promotes and personally demonstrates Safety/Health (including PQP Principles) as #1 priority\nParticipation in risk assessment audits as applicable\nUnderstand PQ Principles (PQP) and how they are implemented in the site organization, rules and procedures\nCompletes HSE training requirements identified for the job in a timely manner\nNational Silicates Partnership is an equal employment opportunity employer.
