Our users are dentists, front-desk staff and office managers who live inside our product all day, under time pressure.\nAbout the Role\nWe're looking for a UX Designer to own end-to-end product design - from problem framing and user flows through to high-fidelity UI and developer handoff. This is a hands-on IC role on a small design team: you will be the design presence in Gurugram, working directly with Product Managers and engineers here, and reporting to our Senior Designer in the US.\nYou'll design across the platform: the AI Receptionist (voice and SMS patient conversations), Online Appointment Booking, Campaigns, Payments, PracticeIQ analytics, the new web app layout experience, and our mobile and front-desk kiosk apps. Real workflows, real constraints - multi-tenant software, dense data screens, and staff who need to complete a task in seconds, not minutes.\nReports to: Senior Designer (US-based)\nLocation: Gurugram, India - this role is open in Gurugram only\nWork Mode: In-office\nWorking Hours: Primarily IST (10 AM - 5 PM), with some evening overlap with US teams (until 9-11 PM IST) as needed\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign\nTurn product requirements and user problems into flows, information architecture, wireframes and high-fidelity UI in Figma\nDesign for web, responsive web, mobile and kiosk - including empty, loading, error and permission states\nPrototype interactions to test and communicate intent before engineering builds it\nDesign for existing screens as often as new ones - redesigns and incremental improvements are a large part of the work\nDiscovery & Validation\nTalk to internal stakeholders (CX, support, sales) and end users to understand the workflow before designing it\nRun lightweight usability tests and design reviews; use findings to change the design, not to justify it\nUse product analytics and support tickets as inputs to design decisions\nSystem & Handoff\nWork within and contribute to our design system - components, patterns, tokens; flag and resolve inconsistencies\nProduce clear specs and handoff: states, responsive behaviour, edge cases, interaction details\nReview the built implementation against the design and close the gaps with engineering\nApply accessibility fundamentals - contrast, hierarchy, keyboard and touch targets\nUse AI design tools alongwith legacy tools such as Figma, XD to get the designs implementation ready.\nCollaboration\nPartner with Product Management from problem statement onward, surfacing edge cases early\nParticipate in grooming, sprint planning and product reviews with distributed teams\nPresent and defend design decisions with reasoning, and take critique from the Senior Designer and PMs well\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience\n2+ years of core UX design experience at an internet or software product company (B2B/B2C SaaS, consumer internet, or product-led platforms)\nA portfolio you can walk us through - 2-3 case studies showing the problem, your process, the decisions you made, and the shipped outcome.
