We're looking for a Business Development Manager to join Practice Plus Group Surgical Centre Gillingham on a 9-month fixed-term contract.\nThis is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in increasing awareness of our services, building strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders and driving referral growth across both NHS and private patient pathways. If you enjoy working autonomously, influencing decision-makers and identifying opportunities to grow services, we'd love to hear from you.\nAs our Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for promoting the services of Practice Plus Group Surgical Centre Gillingham and delivering referral and market share growth across your territory.\nWorking closely with GP practices, practice managers, referral management centres and other key stakeholders, you'll build strong partnerships that increase awareness and utilisation of our services. You'll also work alongside the Hospital Director, Finance Manager, Private Healthcare Lead and Central Marketing Team to support local marketing initiatives and identify opportunities for future growth.\nWhat you'll be doing\nAs our Business Development Manager, you will be:\nDeveloping and maintaining relationships with GP practices, practice managers and key healthcare stakeholders. \nDriving referral growth and market share across NHS, self-pay and privately insured patient pathways. \nUndertaking regular field-based visits to customers and community groups. \nIdentifying opportunities to promote services and increase awareness within the local healthcare economy. \nSupporting the delivery of local marketing campaigns, events and awareness initiatives. \nWorking with the Central Marketing Team to develop local promotional activity and communications. \nMonitoring market intelligence and identifying emerging opportunities for service growth. \nMaintaining accurate activity records and providing regular performance updates. \nContributing to service development ideas and sharing best practice across the wider business development team. \nWhat we’ll look for in you\nWith your experience in developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders, you will also have:\nStrong influencing, communication and interpersonal skills. \nCommercial awareness and a results-focused approach. \nExcellent analytical and numerical skills. \nAbility to work independently and manage a varied workload.\nIT literacy and confidence using customer and performance data. \nFull driving licence and ability to travel across the designated territory.\nSales or business development experience - desirable. \nExperience within the healthcare sector - desirable. \nKnowledge of the healthcare economy, commissioning landscape and referral pathways - desirable. \nWhat you can expect in return;\nA competitive salary\nCar allowance\nA 9-month fixed-term contract\nAn extensive range of wellbeing and lifestyle benefits\nTo apply for the role, click on the link below.
