There are 2 x opening on offer successful candidate will be required to work 2 days out of 7.\nWhat you can expect in return\nIncreased days of annual leave with years of service.\nBeing part of a friendly and supportive team\nSupport with career opportunities if desired\nAn extensive range of wellbeing and lifestyle benefits\nFor a virtual tour of our Hospital please see the video below:\n\nWhat you'll be doing\nYou'll play an important role in creating a positive experience for our patients by helping to deliver high-quality meals and excellent service throughout their stay.\nWorking as part of our catering team, you'll support all aspects of food and beverage service, ensuring meals are prepared, served and presented to a high standard while following hospital policies and procedures.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nServing meals and drinks to patients and taking meal orders\nMonitoring and recording patients' nutritional intake, escalating any concerns to clinical staff\nResponding to dietary requests and reporting issues or patient feedback to the catering team\nPreparing and regenerating chilled and frozen meals, sauces, and beverages\nPlating and serving hot and cold food items\nRecording food and equipment temperatures\nRefilling patients' water jugs and beakers, ensuring they remain hydrated throughout their stay\nThis is a varied, patient-facing role where you'll help ensure every patient receives a safe, enjoyable dining experience.\nWhat we’ll look for in you\nAs part of our catering team, you'll help deliver a high-quality food and beverage service to patients, ensuring excellent standards are maintained at all times while following hospital policies and procedures.\nWe're looking for someone who:\nHas a good understanding of food hygiene and food safety standards\nEnjoys providing great customer service and working with people\nWorks well as part of a team and is happy to support where needed\nHas knowledge of food preparation, menus and presentation\nCan manage their time effectively in a busy environment\nHas strong communication skills, both verbal and written\nThrives in a fast-paced, team-focused role\nHolds a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, or is willing to work towards one\nHas previous experience in a similar catering or hospitality role\nIf you have any questions, contact \nApplicants must have the right to work in the UK.\nSkills\nCustomer Service - Customer Service, Employers - Practice Plus Group, Catering - Catering, Catering - food, Catering - beverage, 2.
