This is a key front-of-house role where you’ll be the first point of contact for patients, helping to create a welcoming and professional environment from the moment they arrive.\nWorking as part of a supportive administration team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of clinics and delivering a high-quality, patient-centred service.\nWorking pattern (34.75 hours per week):\n Monday: 07:45 - 19:00 (10.75 hours)\n Tuesday - Friday: 07:45 - 14:15 (6 hours per day)\nThis is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.\nWhat you'll be doing\nAs our receptionist, you will be:\nWelcoming patients and booking them in for diagnostic and MSK appointments. \nManaging telephone enquiries and responding to patient queries in a professional and timely manner. \nPreparing clinic lists and ensuring all paperwork is ready ahead of appointments.\nScheduling appointments and supporting the smooth flow of clinics. \nMaintaining accurate data entry and administrative records\nSupporting the wider team with general administrative duties and providing cover where needed.\nDelivering a professional, respectful and patient-focused service at all times.\nAssisting with chaperoning duties during patient appointments when required.\nWhat we’ll look for in you\nWith your previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, you will also have:\nExcellent communication skills and a confident, friendly telephone manner.\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload. \nGood IT skills, including data entry and use of office systems.\nHigh attention to detail and a professional, confidential approach.\nAbility to work well both independently and as part of a team.\nA flexible and proactive attitude, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.\nDesirable: experience within a healthcare setting or knowledge of medical terminology.\nWhat you can expect in return;\nA full-time equivalent salary of £24,804 per annum\nWork 34.75 hours per week \nAn extensive range of wellbeing and lifestyle benefits\nAnnual leave (increasing with service) plus bank holidays\nTo apply for the role, click on the link below.
