We're looking for a Trainee Dispensing Assistant to join our pharmacy team at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Emersons Green.\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and develop within a busy hospital pharmacy environment. You'll receive training and support while gaining hands-on experience in the ordering, dispensing and management of medicines, helping to ensure patients receive the highest standard of care.\nWhat you'll be doing\nSupporting the dispensing and labelling of prescriptions in line with pharmacy procedures.\nMaintaining accurate patient medication records using pharmacy systems.\nOrdering, receiving and managing pharmacy stock. \nCarrying out stock checks and ensuring medicines are stored safely and appropriately.\nDistributing medicines and stock to clinical departments across hospital sites. \nWorking closely with pharmacists, nursing staff, doctors and wider clinical teams.\nParticipating in audits, training activities and continuous service improvement initiatives.\nCompleting the Dispensing Assistant training programme and developing your pharmacy knowledge and skills.\nWhat we’ll look for in you\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe're keen to hear from candidates who have:\nGCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent. \nGood IT and keyboard skills.\nStrong communication and organisational abilities. \nExcellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work. \nThe ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure.\nA positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. \nExperience working as part of a team.\nSkills\nEmployers - Practice Plus Group, 2.
