in-house, giving our teams the opportunity to make decisions, drive change and see the direct impact of their work.\nWe are looking for a Retail Asset Manager to join our Development and Regeneration team, taking responsibility for a portfolio of Local Authority-owned shopping centres across the UK.\nThis is not just a traditional asset management role.\nYou will work closely with Local Councils, internal teams and occupiers to shape the future of retail destinations, helping to deliver regeneration strategies that create stronger, more vibrant town and city centres.\nYou will have ownership of your assets, responsibility for delivering business plans and the opportunity to influence everything from leasing strategy and income growth to ESG initiatives, placemaking and capital projects.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nDelivering asset business plans across a portfolio of shopping centres\nDriving rental growth, reducing voids and maximising net operating income\nLeading lease renewals, rent reviews, regears and lettings activity\nIdentifying new income streams and asset enhancement opportunities\nWorking with Local Councils to support wider regeneration ambitions\nLeading refurbishment, reconfiguration and placemaking initiatives\nTaking ownership of asset P&Ls and service charge budgets\nWorking closely with Property Management, Facilities Management and Centre Management teams\nDelivering ESG, sustainability and community initiatives\nProducing high-quality reports and presentations for both internal stakeholders and Local Authority clients\nSupporting acquisitions, disposals and tender opportunities where required\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\n\nThis role requires direct UK shopping centre asset management experience.\nWe are specifically looking for candidates who have:\nUK shopping centre asset management experience (essential)\nA strong foundation in Property Management and/or Asset Management\nExperience working with retail assets in an operational environment\nStrong commercial and negotiation skills\nExcellent report writing and presentation skills\nExperience managing demanding stakeholders and client relationships\nStrong financial awareness, including budgets, income and service charges\nThe ability to think creatively about regeneration, placemaking and repurposing assets\nA proactive, resilient and entrepreneurial
