Plan and verify materials to be used and operations to be performed on each job.\n2. Operate all required machines and equipment, including lathes, mills, grinders and boring machines in order to produce high quality parts. \n3. Interpret complex blueprints and drawings and follow manufacturing processes and procedures.\n4. Inspect completed parts to ensure conformance to quality specifications, using gauges, microscopes and other measuring tools as required. Follow procedures as needed to address non-conformities.\n5 Use material handling equipment to move materials and parts throughout the shop.\n6. Complete required documentation for all jobs responsible for.\n7. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S principles.\n8. Other duties as assigned.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nA related machine trades certificate/diploma and one-year relevant experience, OR, two years relevant experience. \nIntermediate ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.\nIntermediate math skills.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills. \nStrong interpersonal and teamwork skills.\nExperience with machine tooling and measuring tools. \nBasic experience programming CNC machines.\nExperience using material handling equipment, including hoists.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nProficient PC skills in a Windows environment.\n\nCompensation and Benefits Overview\nStarting Pay Range for this position is $22-$28/Hour\nMinimum pay rates offered will comply with applicable county or city regulations if they exceed the listed range.
