Additionally, this position will assist in month-end close processes, and perform other duties as assigned.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : \nAssist Accounting and Finance teams by making copies; filing documents. \nScanning necessary documents to appropriate databases/files.\nReview purchase orders and receipt documentation for correctness.\nMaintain system for matching accounts payable invoices with appropriate documentation. \nEnsure proper coding for all payables before entry into system. \nEnter invoices and credit memos into accounting system.\nMay process accounts payable checks (vendor payments for supplies and services, expense reimbursements, education reimbursements, check requests).\nOther duties as assigned.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree\n1-2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable or Accounting department\nGeneral bookkeeping experience preferred.\nExperience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel) required.\nExperience with Microsoft Dynamics SL Accounting Software (Accounts Payable & Purchasing Modules) or other accounting software applications such as Net Suite a plus, but not required.\nDESIRED KEY COMPETENCIES:\nAbility to communicate effectively with a vast number of departments to obtain information concerning purchase orders, receiving and other expenses.\nAbility to efficiently manage tasks and adjust rapidly to changing environmental priorities.\nDemonstrate the highest ethical standards and trustworthiness.\nExcellent written and oral communication skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively and independently on various types of tasks.\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and
