Take on multiple roles including Feature lead, Developer, product designer, QA, and project manager. Key member of the team strategizing and presenting the future vision of the product to business and technology stakeholders in collaboration with the Product Manager.\nWhat you will do:\nExecute the product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities.\nHelps conduct market and competitive analysis, defines products to serve those needs, the addressable market, ability to penetrate and sell, and overall business justification and strategic fit for products.\nHelp execute the value proposition and business case.\nProvides team leadership through communication and coordination of cross functional teams at all levels of the organization.\nLeads architecture for all components in an investment segment. May focus on one component but must have expertise across all components.\nResponsible for design of systems in the investment segment.\nActively supports Product Manager in the Product Planning, business performance of one or more products.\nEngage with customers throughout the product lifecycle to better glean product insights.\nUnderstand requirements that comes from stakeholders and helps turn them into consumable backlog items for the team.\nWrite clear, compelling, and detailed (technical) user epics and stories with user acceptance criteria. Participate in story grooming exercises for crisp and unambiguous documentation and communication of features to be developed.\nEnsure the backlog is prioritized in order before the sprint.\nCoordinate with appropriate architects to ensure tech decisions are made and implemented. Also Identifying business process improvements and opportunities for automation.\nWork with the Product Manager and Engineering Leader to propose percentage of effort for different types of value in each release.\nParticipates in technical and sales enablement.\nWhat we are looking for:\n Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in business or technical field.\n 8+ years of industry experience in the areas of data engineering and product management. \nExpertise in Java for backend development.\nExpertise with databases, particularly Mongo Atlas, and developing/consuming REST APIs.\nTrack record of Designing and developing data products or software products.\nExposure to cloud-native technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and microservices architecture is a must. \nBasic understanding of agile and scrum methodologies is a must. \nExperience of AWS/Azure/GCP, Redis, Security Domain, Datadog, Code fresh\nWorking knowledge of data ETL will be preferred.\nExperience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI etc.\nAbility to communicate with various stakeholders at all levels of the organization.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nExcellent interpersonal skills and active listener.\nAble to set and meet time-sensitive goals.\nAble to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to change while providing structure to operations and go-to-market teams.\nAI Skills/Knowledge:\nAI-assisted development: Experience using tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor to support coding, code review, documentation, and test generation.\nLLM and agentic workflows: Familiarity with LLM APIs and agent-based workflows, with the ability to apply them thoughtfully in software engineering use cases.\nResponsible AI practices: Understanding of responsible AI principles, including bias mitigation, security considerations, explainability, and appropriate use of AI-generated outputs.\nPreferred Skills (a plus but not required):\nFamiliarity with frontend scripting languages such as Node.js and React.js\nUnderstanding of spark framework along with Snowflake and Databricks.\nHands on Terraform will be advantageous.\nApplication and Interview Impersonation Notice: Impersonating another individual when applying for employment, and/or participating in an interview process to assist another individual in obtaining employment, with Precisely Software Incorporated (“Precisely”) is unlawful.
