You will work closely with Software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to develop and deploy data-driven solutions that deliver business value.\nWhat you will do:\nDevelop, enhance, and maintain enterprise level software products in the geocoding and addressing domain\nAbility analyze and solve complex software problems\nCreate and maintain API’s using C/C++ language that interface with Java integrations and perform in Cloud/SaaS environments\nEffectively use Git for building and managing code\nParticipate in code reviews\nWork within an agile Scrum team in the role of software engineer\nWhat we are looking for:\nBachelor’s in computer science, engineering, or a related field, depending on position level \n3+ years’ experience in software engineering\nProven experience in C/C++ programming language \nExperience developing applications for Windows and Linux operating systems\nUnderstanding and implementation of automated software testing and Quality Assurance methodologies\nSelf-motivated and have an interest in continuous learning \nStrong communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse team\nMust be hard working, team oriented, creative, cooperative, and an exceptional problem solver\nExperience working in a fast-paced, dynamic group with a desire to be part of a small, lean and growing team\nGood To have understanding of Z/OS Mainframe and its modules ISPF, CICS, IMS, JCL \nFamiliarity with Bash script, Groovy and Nix shell scripts\nFamiliarity with Post GRES and SQL queries\nPreferred Requirements:\nKnowledge in specialty area of GIS, applications is a nice to have \nExperience with AWS and working knowledge of AWS data management\nTools: Groove, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, GIT\nExposure to Cobol - good to have \nApplication and Interview Impersonation Notice: Impersonating another individual when applying for employment, and/or participating in an interview process to assist another individual in obtaining employment, with Precisely Software Incorporated (“Precisely”) is unlawful.
