Job tasks include mechanical disassembly, repair, and re-assembly of defective displays using PDR’s repair procedures, tooling and equipment.\nJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nEssential Job Functions:\nMechanical aptitude and hands on experience\nAbility to read, write, and understand the English language and to follow verbal and written instructions, procedures, and instructions\nGood vision and manual dexterity\nGood communication skills\nAbility to work well with others\nExperience in a deadline-oriented environment\nBasic soldering skills\nAbility to read technical drawings/wire lists is a plus\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nPhysical Demands: Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 10 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.\nWork Location: PDR facility in Camarillo, CA.\nJOB SPECIFICATIONS\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to organize and plan work adhering to deadlines; attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of information; ability to read, write, and understand the English language and to follow verbal and written instruction; ability to maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and to project a positive image to the public; ability to work under supervision; ability to adjust to rapidly changing circumstances and priorities.\nExperience: At least 5+ years electronic assembly experience in Operations, Production or Service, or related field preferred.\nWe offer competitive pay, ranging from $22 to $25 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Full-time associates qualify for health benefits the first of the month following 30 days’ employment.
