With over 1.1 million square-feet of sales and services facilities in the United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Brazil - PAG’s 27 locations and customer-focused business model serve aviation customers through Supply Chain and Inventory Supported Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (ISMRO) services.\nJOB PURPOSE\nThe Quality Inspector is responsible for receiving and inspecting components submitted for repair and overhaul, reviewing customer repair orders, generating required technical documentation and shop travelers, and performing inspections to determine product serviceability and compliance with applicable customer, company, FAA, DOT, and quality system requirements.\nJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nEssential Job Functions:\nReceive and inspect incoming components; verify documentation, part identification, and condition.\nReview repair orders and technical data; prepare required work and inspection documentation.\nPerform receiving, in-process, and final inspections to confirm compliance with specifications, quality standards, and airworthiness requirements.\nDocument inspection results, discrepancies, dispositions, and required follow-up actions.\nMaintain FAA, DOT, company, and customer quality records.\nPrepare repair and overhaul quotes based on inspection findings and repair requirements.\nComplete final inspections and release documentation, as authorized.\nSupport quality system compliance, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.\nCommunicate quality concerns to appropriate personnel.\nMaintain a clean, organized work area and properly care for inspection tools and equipment\nAdditional Job Functions:\nPerform general clerical and administrative duties related to inspection, documentation, filing, data entry, and record retention.\nUse Microsoft Office applications and company systems to prepare, update, and maintain inspection and quality records.\nExercise sound judgment when reviewing documentation, identifying discrepancies, and escalating issues for resolution.\nAssist with other quality, operational, or administrative tasks as assigned by department management.\nSAFETY REQUIREMENTS\nParticipate in and support company safety initiatives, safe work practices, and compliance activities.\nImmediately report hazards, unsafe work practices, accidents, injuries, spills, or other safety concerns to appropriate personnel.\nFollow all company safety rules, FAA regulations, DOT requirements, PPE requirements, and equipment operation procedures.\nUse required personal protective equipment and follow applicable procedures when working near components, equipment, chemicals, or materials identified on Safety Data Sheets.\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nPhysical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nThis position may require walking primarily on a level surface for periods of time as well as reaching above shoulder heights or below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday\nEquipment Operated: Ability to operate office machines and equipment and troubleshoot problems with equipment.\nWork Location: Aviation Welding Technologies, LLC 73 Commerce Drive, Uxbridge, MA\nProtective Equipment Required: None\nPotential Hazards: Exposure to materials identified on Material Safety Data Sheets.\nJOB SPECIFICATIONS\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience.\nMust be Highly Motivated individual \nMust possess Excellent Organizational and Communication Skills\nMust have Data Entry Skills / computer literate\nMust be able to read, write and understand English \nMust be available to work Fulltime, M-F, Hours ranging from 7am- 5pm\nMust pass FAA/DOT Pre-Employment drug test and background screen, also will be subjected to random drug and alcohol testing.\nEducation/Training: Minimum of a H.
