Requires frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 75 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.\nEquipment Operated: Ability to operate office machines and equipment and troubleshoot problems with area specialized equipment. Ability to operate hand tools, lathes, machine shop tools, balance machines.\nWork Location: PAG Office On-Site\nJOB SPECIFICATIONS\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to organize and plan work adhering to deadlines; attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of personal and/or proprietary intellectual information; excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy; ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language as well as comprehend and apply information contained in technical, operational and supplemental manuals or procedures; If applicable, be trained in or be thoroughly familiar with the inspection, methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment and tools used to perform the maintenance, preventative maintenance, alterations, or required tasks of articles; multi-tasking is a necessity; thorough knowledge of modern office practices and procedures; ability to type with accuracy and speed; ability to maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and to project a positive, concerned image to the public; ability to work without supervision; ability to adjust to rapidly changing circumstances and priorities. Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others and personal data.\nEducation/Training: High school diploma or equivalent required, with aviation, mechanical, or technical training preferred. Relevant FAA Part 145 training or hands-on experience may be considered in place of formal technical education.\nExperience: Minimum three (3) years’ experience of previous Team Lead, Lead Technician, or supervisory experience required. Practical experience in the procedures, practices, inspection methods, materials, tools, machine tools and equipment generally used in the maintenance duties of the specific job.\nCertificates/Licenses: Must be certificated as a mechanic or repairman per part 65 preferred, but not required.\nWe offer competitive pay and a wide variety of benefits.
