Prime Turbines is a Pratt & Whitney PT6A and PT6T Engine Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) provider, specializing in aircraft engine overhaul, hot section services, and performance recovery for PT6-powered aircraft across general aviation, commercial, and special-mission operations.\nJOB PURPOSE\nAs part of a team working together in an FAA certified Repair Station, the Turbine Engine Technician provides high-quality maintenance and repair services to PT6A engine series. This includes, but is not limited to, disassembly, cleaning, evaluating, repairing, assembling and testing turbine engines.\nJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nEssential Job Functions:\nMaintain, repair and overhaul service to PT6A turbine engines.\nRead and interpret maintenance and overhaul manuals.\nReplace or repair worn, defective or damaged components.\nDisassembly, clean, evaluate, repair and assemble turbine engines.\nOrganizational and interpersonal skills.\nStrong problem solving and analytical skills.\nRead and interpret turbine engine manuals diagrams, charts and schematics.\nLift up to 50 lbs.\nWork and bend in limited workspace.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n3 years’ experience in aviation maintenance environment, preferably on Pratt and Whitney Aircraft Engine PT6A or PT6T series.\nMust have own hand tools. Special tooling will be supplied by company.\nComputer skills including electronic mail, Microsoft word and Excel.\nAbility to read and comprehend written and oral instructions in English.\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.\nGood problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, exercising sound judgement.\nWillingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as required.\nAbility to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
