With over 1.1 million-square-feet sales and services facilities in the United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Brazil - PAG’s 27 locations and customer-focused business model serve aviation customers through Supply Chain and Inventory Supported Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (ISMRO) services.\nWe currently have a position open for a Turbine Engine Technician at Prime Turbines, Mesa, AZ location.\nJOB PURPOSE\nTurbine Engine Technician - Provides maintenance and repair services to support PT6A Turbine engines and supports PAG Engines facilities as needed.\nJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nEssential Job Functions:\nMaintain, inspect, repair and overhaul PT6A engines.\nRead, interpret and complete turbine engine logbooks, along with manuals, diagrams, charts and schematics.\nDisassemble, clean, evaluate, repair and assemble turbine engines.\nReplace or repair worn, defective or damaged components.\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nPhysical Demands:\nRequires sitting or standing for extended periods of time.\nRequires frequent walking, bending, reaching over shoulder level. squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 75 pounds.\nRequires repetitive hand movement.\nRequires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.\nRequires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.\nEquipment Operated: Ability to operate hand tooling.\nWork Location: Mesa AZ\nJOB SPECIFICATIONS\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nMust possess FAA Airframe & Power-plant license. \nAbility to operate hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments necessary to perform job assignments. \nMust be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English.\nEducation/Training:\nHigh school graduate or higher, with technical Airframe/Powerplant training, achieved through graduation trade school or military aircraft maintenance program are required.\nExperience:\nMinimum five (3) years experience in aviation maintenance environment, preferably on PT6A series turbine engine.\nCertificates/Licenses: FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification\nWe offer competitive pay and a wide variety of benefits.
