Perform assays according to SOPs and support development of new procedures and improvement of existing SOPs. May perform other cell based assays.\nEssential functions of the job include but are not limited to:\nPerform Flow cytometry primarily, as well as, other immune assays\nDesign and perform experiments, independently and accurately analyze and present data\nHigh quality output is essential with the ability to build efficiency into improving productivity metrics\nAssist in establishing and improving all procedures and required SOP documentation\nResponsible for trouble shooting and correcting routine scientific issues/problems\nIdentify, update and implement emerging laboratory techniques\nMaintain and support safe lab practices and environment\nWork collaboratively with other technical teams in resource sharing and providing technical expertise\nSupport new equipment operational qualifications and performance checks\nMonitor Product and Service/R&D related project expenses\nAct as a scientific resource externally to clients and internally\nAssists with writing, reviewing and editing contract and grant applications/proposals as appropriate.\nAssists with writing and publishing papers, abstracts, techniques/or chapters to maintain the scientific standard and image of the company\nMay present completed work at appropriate scientific meetings and in publications\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications:\nMinimum Required:\nMaster’s Degree in life sciences or other relevant field\n5 years of relevant laboratory experience\nOther Required:\nExpert level flow cytometry skills using both whole blood and isolated cells\nDemonstrated skills in monitoring cell-mediated immunity through flow cytometry, as well as, ELISpot, ELISA and MSD\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills required\nMust have the ability to organize and analyze data, as well as, prepare reports\nMust possess strong computational skills, preferably experienced with Word, Excel, Power Point, GraphPad Prism, Diva, and FlowJo\nExcellent use of judgment and discretion required\nExtended work hours may be occasionally necessary in order to meet business demands\nThe ability to see and differentiate between colors on the full color spectrum\nAbility to lift and carry between 1-15 lbs.; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. overhead with assistance; frequently required to sit, grasp, and use right/left finger dexterity; May be exposed to a cold freezer environment (Freezer temperatures range between -20ºC -196ºC)\nMust be able to read, write, speak fluently and comprehend the English language\nPreferred:\nA solid understanding of current GLP or CAP/CLIA/ISO standards\nDemonstrated skills with assays used for immunophenotyping such as primary cell based assays, ELISpot, ELISA and Mesoscale\nExperience with cell sorting techniques\nAny data provided as a part of this application will be stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
