Reporting to the Plant Manager you will help lead production and maintenance supervisor(s), and supporting staff, providing leadership and expertise that will help drive productivity and customer satisfaction. You will develop great relationships with our team and strive to promote a great culture within our facility. You will have great problem-solving skills and address quality issues at the source to resolve them.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nPlans, coordinates, and maintains the daily manufacturing operations of the company through subordinate supervisors.\nCollaborates with the Plant Manger to establish short-term and long-term goals, objectives, plans, and policies for manufacturing.\nReviews operating results of the company, compares them to established objectives, and takes measures to correct any unsatisfactory results. Establishes tools for developing and monitoring job forecasts.\nProvides guidance and direction to carry out major plans, standards, and procedures consistent with company and corporate goals and policies.\nEnsures that company activities and operations are compliant with legal and ethical guidelines.\nManages facility schedules and staffing plans to meet demand.\nClosely monitors project progress throughout the project cycle and addresses project issues related to warranty, invoicing, and delivery issues.\nCapable of building relationships with supporting staff and able to coach and mentor subordinates to optimize growth potential.\nOther duties as assigned.\n Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, i.e., Excel, Outlook, and Word. Must be comfortable navigating through different software programs.\nExperience in profit and loss responsibility, plant maintenance, and scheduling production preferred.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\n1-2 years of galvanizing experience preferred.\nPrior knowledge of Oracle preferred.\nBilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred.\nMinimum Education\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.
