Start your success down a great career path today with Precoat Metals!\nSome of your Responsibilities include:\nRetrieves and transports bare coils and maintains flow of metal to lines by safely operating cranes, fork lifts, and upenders without damaging material or equipment.\nTrims, packages and bands finished coils according to customer specifications using proper skids, bands, pads, and wrapping materials.\nInspects coils and identifies and reports defects.\nReads and interprets production schedules.\nAccurately identifies proper skid and package specified on schedules.\nReads and accurately records coil weights, order numbers, etc.\nLoads or unloads received or shipped coils onto or off of trucks.\nStarting Pay Rate $21.83/hr\nOpportunities for advancement to operator positions with pay rates between $22.35 to $29.73/hr.\n As the selected candidate, you will need a high school level reading and writing, visual acuity to read labels, meters, gauges, documents and instructions, in addition to the following:\nAbility to read and comprehend written materials such as schedules, SOPs, work rules, etc.\nAbility to effectively communicate with all members of team.\nAbility to safely operate small manual and electric hand tools.\nMust be available to work 12 hour rotating shifts including weekends as needed. \nRegular and on time attendance is required.
