This role prepares surfaces, applies paint and coatings, maintains painting tools and equipment, and assists with keeping facility areas clean, safe, and well maintained. The position works under general supervision and follows established safety and quality standards.\nJob Model: On-Site\nOn-Site positions will require employees to work on-site for each of their scheduled shifts.\nA typical day at work would include:\nConsistent, regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this job.\nPerforms routine painting and touch-up work on walls, doors, equipment, piping, and other facility surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. \nPrepares surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, and removing old paint as needed.\nSelects appropriate paint, primer, and application methods based on the surface and work requirements.\nAssists with general facility maintenance and upkeep, including minor repairs and preparation of areas for painting.\nInspects completed work for proper coverage, finish, and quality and makes touch-ups as needed. \nAssists with moving, covering, and protecting equipment and materials to prepare work areas for painting. \nFollows established safety procedures when handling paints, solvents, tools, ladders, and other equipment. \nMaintains a clean and organized work area and properly stores materials and equipment.\nExperience you need coming into this job:\nMust have experience with brush, roller, and airless spray applications \nExperience providing high-end interior painting to customers required\nPrevious professional painting experience strongly preferred\nExperience providing high-end interior painting to customers required\nPrevious professional painting experience strongly preferred\nExperience in proper surface preparation, sanding, patching, priming, and finish painting\nStrong attention to detail\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
