This position encompasses responsibility for inventory transactions and maintenance using computerized business system. Runs monthly reports and sets cycle count program and review. Works with Supervisor to assure proper spend review and execution of facility requirements.\nJob Model: On-Site\nOn-Site positions will require employees to work on-site for each of their scheduled shifts.\nResponsibilities:\nConsistent, regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this job.\nObtain quotes and submit purchase requests for tooling and supplies needed to support production.\nReceive and deliver all items purchased for the Tool Room.\nMaintain file for purchasing items.\nAssigns item number for inventory items. (Approximately 4000 items)\nMaintains CribMaster system and ensures data quality and accuracy of item fields (Pricing, Lead Time, MOQ, Approved Vendors, Material Category, etc.).\nMonitors and responds to special requests from Production Supervisors in a timely fashion\nManages the replenishment of Kanban and/or supplier consigned inventory for designated parts.\nObtain quotes on all items; request purchase orders, and ensure order is placed with vendor.\nMaintain stock and inventory for the Machine Shop, Maintenance, Assembly, and all other production areas.,.\nSign out tools to all of the above areas as needed, maintain log on computer.\nMaintain inventory of all tool room supplies.\nWorks with the Logistics team to ensure supplier compliance with freight and shipping procedures, assists in resolving receiving issues, and utilizes cost effective and efficient shipping methods.\nKeep Tool Room organized and clean.\nComplexity of Duties:\nWorks under general supervision; exercises independent judgment in accordance with well-established policies and procedures.\nRequires a good working knowledge of machine shop tooling requirements.\nEssential Skills:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
