Reporting directly to our VP, Engineering, you will architect quality strategies across our stack-combining robust UI test automation, cutting-edge AI tools, and strategic manual test design to accelerate quality engineering.\nYou bring strong technical expertise in C#/.NET automation, hands-on experience in exploratory UI testing, and a proactive mindset toward modern QA innovation. Collaborating closely with Product Management and Scrum teams, while partnering with Client Support to triage and gain visibility into production issues, you will champion quality and release confidence across the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).\nWHAT YOU'LL DO:\nAI-Assisted Automation Engineering & CI/CD\nBuild, expand, and maintain scalable UI end-to-end automation suites using C# and Selenium WebDriver in .NET, while leveraging modern frameworks like Playwright.\nActively integrate Generative AI tools (such as Claude) into all stages of automated test development-using AI to assist in writing test scripts, generating Page Object models, refactoring code, and optimizing test logic.\nIntegrate and maintain automated test suites within our continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines to deliver rapid feedback on pull requests and release builds.\nTriage flakiness, refactor existing code bases, and ensure automated test suites remain fast, reliable, and maintainable.\nAI-Driven Quality & Front-End Execution\nActively utilize AI tools (specifically Claude, alongside ChatGPT/Copilot) to brainstorm complex edge cases, generate test data, and accelerate test plan creation.\nLeverage modern AI execution tools and workflows to speed up script generation, assist in UI visual validation, and automate front-end regression checks.\nExplore and evaluate emerging AI-driven QA technologies (e.g., self-healing locators, automated failure analysis) to continuously elevate execution efficiency.\nTest Architecture & Risk-Based Testing\nDesign and execute end-to-end test strategies for complex software features, covering functional workflows, edge cases, regression, and user experience.\nPerform deep exploratory testing on high-risk features and complex data states prior to release.\nPartner with Client Support to gain visibility into production issues, assist in triaging client-reported defects, and feed root-cause insights back into test coverage. \nConduct root-cause analysis on defects using browser developer tools, application logs, and database queries (SQL) to provide developers with clear, actionable diagnostics.\nPartner with Product and Scrum teams early in the lifecycle to refine acceptance criteria, uncover missing requirements, and ensure testability.\n\nWHAT YOU'LL BRING:\nTechnical & Automation Requirements\nProficiency in C# / .NET development practices for test automation engineering.\nSolid hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright for web UI testing.\nPractical experience querying databases with SQL to verify data integrity and using browser DevTools for troubleshooting.\n\nAI Proficiency\nActive experience using Generative AI (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) to actively assist in automated test script generation, test strategy design, code refactoring, and front-end execution.\nA proactive, curious mindset toward incorporating AI into daily engineering workflows to drive test creation speed and execution coverage.\n\nExperience & Core Skills\n5+ years of progressive experience in software quality engineering across modern web applications.\nStrong command of QA methodologies, software testing patterns (e.g., Page Object Model), and Agile delivery.\nExceptional analytical and critical thinking skills with a track record of catching subtle user-facing and edge-case bugs early.\n\nNICE TO HAVE:\nHands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).\nExperience testing or automating REST APIs (using Postman, RestSharp, or C#).\nThis is an exempt position and compensation for the role will be in the range of $140,000-175,000 annually, with full access to PI's benefits package, including unlimited PTO and 401(k) with match.\n\nAt The Predictive Index, we value flexibility.
