Change glue totes as required and assist press crews in obtaining consumables.\nResponsible for maintaining housekeeping in area of work including but not limited to maintaining an orderly and efficient warehouse space for inventory, and ensuring area is clean, free of debris and spills. Ensures proper containment and packaging of waste and oil products.\nEnsures compliance with safety and work regulations including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follows all safety rules.\nReport any accident, incident or near miss to the Team Lead, Supervisor, Manager or Plant Manager.\nAttend meetings and complete safety training as required. Report all hazardous conditions to the Lead, Production Supervisor, or Plant Manager immediately for corrective action.\nActively engages in apprenticeship programs for continuous self-improvement.\nMaintain good employee relations. \nAdhere to Company policies and procedures. Refer all employee relations issues to the Lead, Production Supervisor, or Plant Manager.\nMay be assigned to different production lines and areas as needed per company demand.\nPerform other job-related duties as assigned.\n\nCompetency (Knowledge, skills, and abilities)\nAbility to read a tape measure and document quality readings.\nGood mathematical skills\nStrong mechanical aptitude, including ability to operate a forklift and other Powered Industrial Vehicles in a safe and effective manner.\nAbility to take coaching well and communicate respectfully with others to ensure and promote a positive teamwork culture.\nAbility to effectively and respectfully communicate with team members including employees on the previous or following shift during shift transition.\nKnowledgeable about safety requirements and guidelines in manufacturing/warehouse environments.Must be safety conscious, able to understand and adhere to all Department and Plant rules, regulations, and notices.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, follow standardized work instructions and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement culture.\n\nEnvironment\nNon airconditioned, indoor environment. Heat may exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit.\nHumidity may exceed 80%.\nNoise may exceed 85dB+.\nWork around and with manufacturing machinery, exposure to moving equipment.\n\nPhysical Characteristics:\nFrequent standing, up to 12 hours.
