The Division Controller leads initiatives to drive and measure process and within the department (accurate and timely financial statements).\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nCoordinate and manage month-end close procedures ensuring accurate recording of revenue, manufacturing cost, and expense across all Business Unit facilities and Product Lines\nDevelop a robust internal control framework and ensure compliance throughout the Business Unit operations. Reconcile key Balance Sheet accounts monthly\nDeliver Quarterly & Annual Accounting Operations Reviews with Chief Accounting Officer & Assistant Corporate Controller\nLead Cash Management for Business Unit, includes indirect management of Shared Service resources (AR/AP Analysts) and collaboration with Director of AP/AR\nBuild and maintain relationship with Pregis Accounting network to drive adoption of best practices.\nMonitor and work with cross functional business partners on Continuous Improvement initiatives to create efficient and effective processes.\nLead business unit requirements for annual external audit ensuring actions put in place to mitigate and/or remediate audit risk.\nActively engage in the professional development of staff providing opportunities for growth.\nAd-hoc analysis of financial and operating metrics to support business needs.\nEnsure completion of weekly reviews of production order variances to identify unusual variances, report root causes, and drive remediation where applicable.\nSupport the annual budget process as a key member of the Accounting & Finance Team \nOther duties as assigned.\nEducation and/or Experience\nBachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA/CMA strong plus/preferred.\n7+ years’ experience with progressively increasing responsibility in accounting/finance in a manufacturing environment.\nStrong working knowledge of GAAP.\nLarge scale ERP experience required.
