Join a team where safety is at the center of everything we do.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\nMinimum 3 years of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment\nStrong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, PSM, and RMP regulations\nExperience developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs and compliance initiatives\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)\nAbility to maintain confidentiality regarding employee matters, investigations, and company processes\nSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities\nAbility to travel locally and regionally as needed\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field\nExperience managing workers' compensation programs and safety compliance systems\nExperience leading safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations\nManufacturing industry experience preferred\nPosition Summary\nWe are seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to lead safety, health, and environmental programs supporting our Sussex and Elkhorn facilities. This role is responsible for driving a Safety-First culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, reducing workplace risk, supporting employee well-being, and partnering with site leadership to continuously improve EHS performance.\nKey Responsibilities\nPromote a Safety-First culture through employee engagement, accountability, and continuous safety improvement initiatives\nPartner with site leadership, managers, and supervisors to support safety programs and ensure compliance across operations\nDevelop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, procedures, and training programs\nLead new employee safety orientation and onboarding activities\nConduct and maintain Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)\nManage workers’ compensation claims and safety compliance programs\nLead incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation\nMaintain EHS records, logs, permits, and regulatory documentation\nManage hazardous waste handling, storage, disposal, and regulatory reporting requirements\nEnsure Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are maintained and review new materials for compliance and safety risks\nConduct safety audits, inspections, and compliance assessments while driving continuous improvement initiatives\nSupport emergency response activities and provide first aid guidance when necessary\nUtilize safety metrics and audit findings to identify trends and implement preventative measures\nCollaborate with leadership to monitor EHS performance and support organizational safety goals\nPhysical Requirements\nFrequent walking throughout manufacturing and warehouse environments\nAbility to stand, bend, reach, and climb stairs as needed\nAbility to access production areas and work around
