Title: Inventory Control Specialist\nClassification: Hourly \nReports To: Inventory Control Supervisor \nDepartment: Inventory Control \n\nSummary of Job\nThe Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for daily management of Pregis’ spare parts inventory system for machine production and other duties as assigned.\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities\nMaintain adequate spare parts inventory levels to meet production needs. \nPurchase inventory, maintenance, and production parts as required, coordinating with approved suppliers to support operational needs and maintain appropriate stock levels.\nMonitor and maintain spending budgets for parts and inventory purchases, track expenditures against approved budgets, and communicate budget variances or purchasing concerns to the Maintenance Planner.\nMaintain accurate purchasing records, including purchase orders, receipts, pricing, and supporting documentation, in accordance with company requirements.\nInvestigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventories. \nManage cycle counts of product inventories on a regular basis. \nTrack incoming and outgoing spare parts inventory. \nCollect and store incoming parts in defined locations. \nMaintain count accuracy (digital and physical counting). \nDispose of obsolete parts inventory as directed. \nProvide inventory items such as parts to maintenance to maintain equipment and production uptime. \nUtilize Forklifts to safely store and move parts. \nKeep the work area clean and clear of scrap material. \nAttend meetings and completes safety training as required.\nPerforms other job-related duties as assigned. \n\nCompetency (Knowledge, skills, and abilities)\nAbility to take coaching well and communicate respectfully
