This role produces materials to customer specifications while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards. The successful candidate will work closely with the production team, learn equipment operation and setup, and support efficient manufacturing operations.\n\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities\nOperate and monitor rewind equipment to support daily production goals and customer requirements.\nFollow all company safety procedures, work instructions, and policies to maintain a safe work environment.\nAssist with machine setup, material loading, and production changeovers as required.\nProduce material to customer specifications, including width, length, and other job requirements outlined on production orders.\nPerform quality checks before, during, and after production runs and notify the Production Supervisor of any quality concerns.\nMonitor machine performance and communicate equipment, safety, or production issues promptly.\nInspect finished materials to ensure quality standards are met and remove defective material when identified.\nComplete required production records and job documentation accurately.\nPerform routine cleaning and basic housekeeping of equipment and the surrounding work area.\nWork closely with team members to support production, quality, and safety goals.\nLearn equipment operation, setup, and manufacturing processes to support continued growth within the department.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred.\nMechanical aptitude and willingness to learn rewind equipment and manufacturing processes.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.\nAbility to follow work instructions, production orders, and established procedures.\nGood communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to stand, walk, stoop, squat, and perform other physical activities throughout the shift.\nFrequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of materials up to 60 pounds.\nAbility to work safely around moving equipment and machinery.\nWork is performed in an indoor manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, humidity, noise, and moving equipment.\nTemperatures may exceed 90°F, humidity may exceed 80%, and noise levels may exceed 85 dB.\nRequired use of personal protective equipment
