Overtime may be required as necessary for the success of the team.\n\nJob Tasks and Responsibilities\nSuccessfully perform troubleshooting on industrial automation equipment such as programmable logic control (PLC) and AC/DC drive systems. \nOn call for emergency repairs in breakdown situations as necessary. \nAccurately read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. \nAccurately complete and document work orders promptly in CMMS to maintain high-quality standards. \nMaintain communication with other departments, management, and employees; notifying them of problems and/or concerns that may restrict production efficiency. \nComplete all paperwork in a clear, legible, and accurate format, including all required information and documentation following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s). \nAssist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory by checking parts out of inventory and assigning them to the proper work order, report low supply levels to Supervisor. \nMaintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area, including maintenance shop. \nAbide by all safety standards and protocols set forth by OSHA and Pregis. \nAdhere to and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures as outlined at Pregis Films. \nPerform all aspects of the position to the highest quality.\nRequired Education and Experience and Skills\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required. \nAssociate’s or Technical School Degree in Mechanics, Electrical, Computer Science, preferred. \nAn equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. \n5+ year(s) experience working as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment. \nFacilities Maintenance experience preferred.\nAble to stand for long periods; up to 12 hours. \nKnowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatics repair and troubleshooting. \nExperience with maintenance work order systems. \nKnowledge of welding and machining skills desired, not required. \nMust be able to understand mechanical, piping, and electrical drawings. \nAbility to operate a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to perform duties.\nPhysical Characteristics\nInside work, 80%\nOutside work, 20%\nWorking temperatures ranging from 20-95°F\nExposure to noise at or above 85dB, moving machinery/equipment/vehicles, high places/platforms, and high humidity\nPotential exposure to vibration, electrical hazards, confined/cramped spaces, and wet/damp work surfaces\nRequired PPE of safety glasses, earplugs, safety-toe shoes, beard/hair nets, cut gloves, and provided fire retardant clothing\nConstant standing/walking\nFrequent sitting\nFrequent stooping/squatting\nFrequent kneeling/crawling/bending\nFrequent lifting/pushing/pulling/carrying of 30-50lbs. for up to 100 feet\nFrequent reaching high, low, and out\nFrequent stair climbing\nFrequent typing/keyboarding\nRepetitive and frequent use of wrist/hand/fingers\nGood correctable visual acuity with both eyes\nGood visual perception of color, depth, and fields\nGood reading and writing abilities\nRequired forklift driving\nGood earing with both ears\nGood use of hands/feet\nKey Competencies\nProblem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner;
