Electromechanical Maintenance Technician\nShift: Nights (6PM-6AM) \nReports to: Maintenance Lead \nLocation: McDonough, GA\n\nElectromechanical Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:\nPerform the proper function of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing maintenance requirements (both planned and unplanned) on production, packaging and processing equipment, and utility systems.\nSuccessfully perform troubleshooting on Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and AC/DC drive systems.\nOn call for emergency repairs in breakdown situations as necessary.\nAccurately read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.\nPerform preventative maintenance (i.e., conducting computerized preventative maintenance check-ups or reading SPC charts and data) as needed.\nEnsure proper function of the line manufacturing support systems (line/lube delivery, resin delivery, process systems, operational support.)\nAccurately complete and document work orders promptly in CMMS to maintain high-quality standards.\nMaintain communication with other departments, management, and employees; notifying them of problems and/or concerns that may restrict production efficiency.\nComplete all paperwork in a clear, legible, and accurate format, including all required information and documentation following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).\nAssist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory by checking parts out of inventory and assigning them to the proper work order, report low supply levels to Supervisor.\nMaintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area, including maintenance shop.\nAdhere to Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).\nIdentify Critical Control Points (CCP).\nAbide by all safety standards and protocols set forth by OSHA and Pregis.\nPerforms related duties as assigned.\nOther responsibilities as directed or required.\n\nElectromechanical Education:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent (GED)\nAssociate’s or Technical School Degree in Mechanics, Electrical, Computer Science, preferred\n\nElectromechanical Maintenance Technician Qualifications and/or Experience:\n1+ year(s) experience working as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment\nKnowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatics repair and troubleshooting\nExperience with maintenance work order systems\nKnowledge of welding and machining skills desired, not required\nMust be able to understand mechanical, piping, and electrical drawings\nAbility to operate a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment to perform duties\nMUST BE PLC CERTIFIED\nAn equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered\n\nEnvironment:\nExposure to moving equipment\nInside work\nHeat may exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit \nHumidity may exceed 80%\nNoise may exceed 85dB+\nPersonal Protective
