Emphasis on Good analytical skills and ability to source other/outside resources to resolve issues, troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic and mechanical problems, repairing and replacing faulty components or parts, installing new machines and equipment, performing Preventive Maintenance on equipment, maintaining parts and supplies inventories. This position will be responsible to support the plant by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and modifying mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical equipment. Including PLC, DCS and multiple systems.\n\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities\nEmphasis on good safe work practices and familiar with safety procedures.\nSolid communication skills the ability to work well with others.\nGood analytical skills set and a sense of urgency when it comes to completing work.\nTroubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic systems and control circuits.\nAbility to solve mechanical problems, repairing and replacing faulty components or parts, installing new machines and equipment, performing Preventive Maintenance on equipment, maintaining parts and supplies inventories.\nPerform reactionary maintenance (i.e., repair machines, equipment, etc., when required, as such goes down).\nPreventive maintenance can carry out tasks and responsibilities associated with maintenance of equipment, building and grounds, etc.\nPlan and carry out tasks and responsibilities associated with special projects on existing or new equipment or facilities.\nAssumes responsibility for managing projects assigned.\nSources products and materials and obtains pricing for maintenance purchases.\nAccountable for parts inventories relative to own needs and replenishing.\nPerform most types of tool & die and fixture jobs.\nMiscellaneous duties, projects and responsibilities as assigned.\nWorks well within a small team to solve collective problems.\nProactively reaches out across departments to collaborate.\nEncourages teamwork with all department and/or facility members.\nCommunicates well with fellow department and/or facility members.\nAccepts training readily, quickly understands new concepts.\nShows willingness to offer training to fellow department members.\nPerforms a task with limited supervision and may require that you provide guidance to fellow employees.\nDemonstrate the ability to work on a team to achieve departmental results.\n\nCompetency (Knowledge, skills, and abilities)\nAbility to read and understand LOTO procedures\nWelding/Fabricating.\nMachining, Lathes, and Mills.\nUnderstanding of machine control systems, and electrical schematics \nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.\nAbility to write routine reports and correspondence.\nUse Office software and enter work orders in our CMMS software.\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\nAbility to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.\n\nEnvironment\nExposure to moving equipment\nInside work\nHeat may exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit\nHumidity may exceed 80%\nNoise may exceed 85dB+\n\nPhysical Characteristics\nThis position requires the following on-the-job time performing physical activities:\nAbility to walk or stand for prolonged periods.\nAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, crouch.\nAbility to climb stairs and ladders. \nAbility to reach and lift up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to endure elevated temperature levels. \n\nEducation and Experience\nHigh School diploma, or GED equivalent;
