Develop work instructions, create manufacturing routings, and provide hands-on troubleshooting support on the production line to resolve electrical issues and minimize downtime. Serve as the technical bridge between engineering design and manufacturing execution, supporting internal customers across departments to ensure seamless implementation of electrical systems. \n\nSPECIAL SKILLS/ABILITIES NEEDED:\nExperience with PLC/HMIs, including Allen Bradley (RSLogix 500/5000) and Beckhoff/Codesys. \nHands-on approach with willingness to work directly on the shop floor to diagnose and resolve production issues in real-time.\nProficient in using electrical test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, meggers) for diagnostics and hands-on experience with wiring, rewiring, and electrical assembly rework.\nExperience with DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly). \nStrong understanding of electrical CAD design; AutoCAD preferred. \nExperience with motion control systems. \nKnowledge of IEC 61131-3 programming languages, specifically Structured Text and Ladder Logic. \nPreferred experience with electrical assembly troubleshooting and manufacturing processes. \nExperience with troubleshooting electrical control systems and debugging issues on the production floor. \nAbility and desire to learn new programming languages and technologies. \nStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the organization. \nExcellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. \nAbility to shift priorities frequently and perform effectively under pressure. \nValid driver's license. \nWillingness to travel as needed (approximately 0-20% monthly; higher travel expected during initial onboarding period).\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n70% - Implement, modify, test, and troubleshoot new and existing systems, including HMI and PLC software, electrical layouts, and technical documentation\n20% - Drive continuous improvement initiatives, cost reduction projects, NCR (Non-Conformance Report) resolution, and other manufacturing duties as required.\n10% - Create and maintain documentation of existing systems. \nPerforms other job-related duties as assigned subject to reasonable accommodations\n\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\nEngineering degree and 5+ years of related experience, or equivalent experience in HMI, PLC, and motion control troubleshooting.
